TL;DR: don't use heat. Seriously. The fibres will shrink if blasted with heat, and your design will warp. You won't be happy, Jan!
What do those laundry symbols on my swing tag mean?
Alrighty, let's break it down before you break down.
In order from left to right:
- Delicate cold wash only (30°c and below).
- Do not tumble dry.
- Do not Iron (if you must iron, do NOT iron the embroidery directly — iron the garment inside out).
- Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals.
- Do not dry clean.
I wrote you a short poem.
Roses are red.

Any other tips?
I recommend turning your garment inside out to protect the embroidery when it’s in your washing machine. The embroidery is made up of thousands of stitches of thread and I'd hate for it to get snagged on something in the wash. Also, if we’re believing big washing machine propaganda (we are), I should also tell you that you should probably wash like colours together.

Any valid discount code works with free shipping so you can get the best of both worlds... chill it out, take it slow (and check out please).

What are my payment options?
You can securely checkout using the following payment methods:

You can access PayPal’s Pay In 4 service, if eligible, when checking out using PayPal. This allows you to split your repayment into 4 instalments. Refer to PayPal’s website for additional information, including eligibility.
How long until I receive my order?
I'm just as impatient as you are, which is why I get to work immediately. I'm based in Perth, WA. Logically, the closer you are, the faster it arrives... but we've all seen how logistics actually works.
Orders are stitched and dispatched within two business days. Australia Post standard delivery typically takes 3–8 business days after dispatch.

*Occasionally, I'm waiting on fresh stock to arrive. If there's a delay, I'll keep you updated.
Why isn't express shipping an option?
This is an intentional choice. To completely misquote Mean Girls, "The environment, duh." Express shipping has a very high environmental cost and when I consider the value it provides versus the environmental impact, it just doesn't stack up. It's only a few extra days for you to receive your order with standard shipping and it is miles better for the world. It's worth the wait, I promise!
Can I cancel my order?
I know mistakes happen or that you might suddenly get a moment of financial clarity! I might be a vulture, but I'm not an asshole. If you’ve ordered the wrong size or changed your mind, please email me immediately at hello@popvulture.com.au.
- Before posting: If I haven’t sent your order yet, I can cancel it and issue a full refund.
- After posting: Once your order is with the courier, I cannot cancel or intercept it. You will need to follow the 14-day return window process once your package arrives.

Returns
TL;DR: Return within 14 days in "as-new" condition (no makeup tutorials or pet hair, please!); shipping is on me for faulty goods.
Can I change my mind and return my order?
Yes! Change-of-mind returns and size exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unworn (beyond a quick try on), unwashed, clean and tagged.

Products
TL;DR: 100% organic cotton, embroidered with 100% recycled thread. It's softer than me on anti-depressants...
What are your garments made of?
I use 100% certified-organic cotton for all garments. Organic means zero nonsense during production. It's natural, breathable and cloud-like... unlike your boss's personality.
The thread I embroider with is 100% GRS-certified recycled polyester. Why not cotton thread? Unfortunately, cotton embroidery thread is — to put it lightly — a liability. It cannot withstand the pressure of being stitched onto clothing, and even if it does, it won't look that good for very long. It snaps and it frays. What's the point if it doesn't last?
Recycled threads means less plastic in the landfills and in our waterways. I 🫶🏻 you turtles 🐢.
Can I feel the design when wearing my garment?
Yes, you can feel the design. Machine embroidery stitches thousands of tiny threads into the fabric, giving a tactile feel to my products.
My designs are very durable. That said, the embroidery is not a fidget toy. Don't go picking at the threads when you're bored in your Teams call. If you pull or play with it, it may break. If it breaks, you will cry. Don't say I didn't warn you.
I use a soft, but firm, stabilising layer on the inside of the garment. This creates a barrier between the embroidery and your skin to prevent irritation. This also helps set the stitches in place, helping the embroidery to withstand the chaos of daily living.
